Weekly Membership

Newtown Shul welcomes worshippers to the services, and for our on-line sessions. If you want to become a member, or a friend of Newtown Shul, to have your name in the Shul or to support our wonderful community, please do consider joining.

If you are not yet a member, you can join by filling in the membership application form and paying the membership fee which is relevant to you. On completing the form and paying your fee, you - and your family - will become associate members of the Synagogue. This provides the main membership benefits, except the ability to vote at the annual general meeting . To become a full member, the Board will reach out to you to confirm your Jewish identity. You can also choose to remain an associate member, which includes your name(s) in the Synagogue and all the standard membership benefits.

Note: The fee comprises $1 for membership, the remainder for religious services.
